The Maharashtra Congress on Tuesday informed that the wastage of
coronavirus vaccine in the state was 0.22 per cent and not six per cent. The Maharashtra Congress clarified after Union minister
Prakash Javadekar blamed the state of wastage of the vaccine amid an acute shortage.
Congress further stated that the state has only 23,547 vaccine doses left. Hence, the state is unable to run a smooth vaccination drive.

GUWAHATI: The BJP had the last laugh in the Assam Assembly poll by getting a 33.21 per cent share of votes against a 29.67 per cent share of Congress. While the BJP polled 63,84,538 votes by 93 candidates, Congress polled 57,03,341 votes by 95 candidates.
BJP s ally AGP got a share of 7.91 per cent of votes. It polled 15,19,777 votes in all. The regional party contested 29 seats.
Congress ally AIUDF got a share of 9.29 per cent of votes, the total votes being 17,86,551. The party contested 20 seats.
Another Congress ally BPF got a share of 3.39 per cent of votes, the total votes being 6,51,073. It contested 12 seats.
